I found a low priced option for sporting a quick updo of my hair. Walgreens has these bins the middle aisles, always filled with great low priced goodies. I spotted some cute little assorted colored headbands ( two in a pack )  for only 99 cents, they make it easy to swish your hair up and quickly be on your way.

Tuesday, March 20, 2018

Spring is here, time to pullout those cute thrifted pieces from your closet. I have plenty short sleeved blouses and accessories that I scored  at my local thrift stores. I will be adding those to my daily attire. When you are are out thrifting do not overlook the accessories counter in the thrift stores. I have found some really nice necklaces, bracelets etc. in thrift stores.

Thursday, March 15, 2018

I found a great way to make my expensive makeup palette go further. I found great little take along makeup at Dollar Tree. These fit right in your purse and certain brands have lasting wear, seriously it stays on about as long as some designer brands.

Go by your nearest Dollar Tree and check out the  nice lip and eye colors  you'll be surprised at the selection.

Thursday, March 1, 2018

About Women's History Month
Women’s History Month had its origins as a national celebration in 1981 when Congress passed Pub. L. 97-28 which authorized and requested the President to proclaim the week beginning March 7, 1982 as “Women’s History Week.” Throughout the next five years, Congress continued to pass joint resolutions designating a week in March as “Women’s History Week.” In 1987 after being petitioned by the National Women’s History Project, Congress passed Pub. L. 100-9 which designated the month of March 1987 as “Women’s History Month.” Between 1988 and 1994, Congress passed additional resolutions requesting and authorizing the President to proclaim March of each year as Women’s History Month. Since 1995, Presidents Clinton, Bush and Obama have issued a series of annual proclamations designating the month of March as “Women’s History Month.
