We got out for the Light The Night Walk 2016 in Georgia

Wednesday, February 28, 2018

It has come  and gone, but we did as we had hoped. We formed TEAM  KELLEY and
went out with family to support a great fundraiser for a great cause. My sister Kelley is a leukemia survivor who set out to raise  funds to help end blood cancers. Thanks to Family & Friends Team Kelley raised and donated $1,000.00 to  The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in Atlanta .
Through my  Thrifting Central Ga. Organization  I worked hard to spread the word and help educate others about the cause . I raised funds and donated part of my proceeds from my last J and J's Thrift Pop ( a subsidiary of Thrifting Central Georgia) * . Thanks to the shoppers who shopped, You enabled me to raise those funds **

Kelley and I did some media interviews in September, as it was Leukemia Awareness Month, We  also gave out informational brochures at the September J and J 's Thrift Pop Up Shop Event .
I will continue to follow my Motto Thrift/ Shop For a Cause . I will encourage my thrift group members and others to shop at stores that use part of their proceeds to benefit causes, whether it be the homeless,  battered women, men in rehab , job readiness etc.. #thrift4acause  is my hashtag ***
