My Thrifted Winter Gear Came in Handy on this Outing!

There are those times when you need to get away from it all. I love the idea of having a state park nearby , it is a thrifty way to go enjoy nature and leave the television and other electronic gadgets behind for a few hours. I am speaking of High Falls State Park. The entrance fee is a mere $5.00 and gives visitors access to the park grounds which are outfitted with picnic areas. Must I mention that the park has some great walking and hiking trails with an amazing view of the falls. I pulled out my jeans, boots and jacket ( all thrifted from Salvation Army of Central Georgia  )for my  trip a day trip to the falls in January.
